Materials
2mm vegetable-tanned cowhide, raw burnished edge, saddle-stitched pen loop. Vegetable tanning is slower and dearer than chrome and is the only tannage that develops colour rather than just wearing out.
Care
Nothing for the first year. After that a neutral balm if it looks dry. Marks and scratches are the point; if you want it to stay unmarked, buy a plastic one.
